The Care Partnership is a broad-based educational
resource for health care institutions and associations,
care agencies and companies wishing to provide valuable
information to their employees on aging-related issues
and care-oriented family difficulties. This resource is
also available for individuals and family members facing
deteriorating health conditions of loved ones.
The partnership was established in 2007 as a result of
the recognition that there is a growing need for information
sharing and support, on issues of aging well. We realized
that these issues would be best addressed by combining
our accumulated expertise, along with that of our network
of professional associates, to provide essential information
to health professionals, administrators, volunteers and
family members.
The Care Partnership offers practical, skill-based seminars,
interactive workshops, educational presentations, and
support programs for those providing cognitive, emotional
and physical care for adults facing a loss of autonomy.
Our specific training approach accommodates an agency’s
particular situation. This can include workplace wellness,
self-care, accumulated loss, compassion fatigue, and other
caregiver issues.
There is a need for cost-effective measures, offering
professional development services and team building in
an appropriate environment that is both enjoyable and
practical.
